I’m a senior at Clarkstown High School South in West Nyack, N.Y., and I make art purely for the joy of it. In addition to traditional drawing, painting and photography, I love exploring how to use different mediums such as paper and natural materials. My art is a reflection of how I view the world: unpredictable, beautiful and complex. Making art allows me to express myself and display parts of my life without using words. There are messages I express in my work and I like how each observer can interpret and be moved by them differently. When I’m not in school, in the art studio, attending club meetings, or volunteering, you’ll most likely find me enjoying boba tea with my friends and listening to music.
